Boarding Information
Our boarding facility is conveniently located in town, just behind Sheetz. We have two climate-controlled buildings that are both heated and air-conditioned to ensure your pet stays comfortable year-round.
Exercise & Play
Your pup will have plenty of room to play in our two large, fully fenced turf play yards, giving them the opportunity to run, play, and get all of their zoomies out!
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours
To provide the best care for all of our boarding guests, we offer the following drop-off and pick-up times:
Morning: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Evening: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Please plan to arrive during these designated hours only. Do not arrive before or after these times, as we are caring for the dogs and may not be available to assist you.
Food & Personal Belongings
Storage space is limited, so we ask that you bring only the essentials.
Food Recommendations:
Please do not bring large bags of dog food. We recommend pre-portioning each meal into individual bags. Example: If your dog eats 1 cup of food each morning, place 1 cup into a small resealable bag for each breakfast.
We provide: Comfortable dog beds • Blankets • Food and water bowls
To help keep all dogs safe and comfortable, we strongly discourage bringing toys or other personal items that could lead to resource guarding. However, treats are always welcome!
Medications
If your dog requires medication during their stay, you will be asked to complete a medication form at drop-off so we can administer it properly.
Afternoon Pick-Up Fee
Afternoon pick-up is $20 per dog.

A Typical Day at Boarding
We understand that dogs thrive on routine! While every day is a little different, here's what a typical day looks like for our boarding guests.
8:00 AM – Good Morning!
The day begins with supervised outdoor potty breaks. As friends join their play groups, tails start wagging, noses get sniffing, and the morning zoomies begin!
8:00 AM – 8:30 AM | Breakfast Time
All dogs return to their private kennels to enjoy breakfast. During this time, breakfast is served, medications are administered as needed, and everyone receives a treat before heading back out to play.
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM | Morning Playtime
It's time for supervised outdoor play! Dogs enjoy running with their friends, zoomie sessions, swimming in the pool (weather permitting), and friendly wrestling matches with their best buddies.
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM | Enrichment Activities
Dogs scheduled for additional services participate in enrichment activities, Sniffaris, exit baths, or nail trims during this time. Guests attending daycare at Parkside Pups also enjoy their scheduled car ride.
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM | More Outdoor Fun
Dogs who participated in enrichment activities or grooming services return outside for more supervised playtime before settling in for the afternoon.
1:00 PM – 5:30 PM | Rest & Nap Time
After an exciting morning of fun and exercise, everyone heads inside for a well-deserved nap and quiet rest period.
5:30 PM | Evening Routine
Dogs attending daycare at Parkside Pups return to Blues Creek Boarding. All boarding guests then enjoy another supervised outdoor potty break and play session, just like the morning routine.
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM | Dinner Time
Dogs return to their private kennels for dinner. Dinner is served, medications are administered as needed, and everyone receives an evening treat before heading back outside.
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM | Evening Playtime
The evening is filled with more supervised outdoor fun, including zoomie sessions, swimming (weather permitting), and spending time with their furry friends before bedtime.
7:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Departure Baths
Dogs scheduled for a morning pick-up who have requested a bath receive their bath during this time.
8:30 PM | Bedtime
The day winds down as everyone heads inside for bedtime. Dogs receive their evening treats and frozen peanut butter Kongs before settling in for a cozy night's sleep.
Add-On Services
Our sniffaris include a 20 minute relaxed but stimulating walk where dogs are encouraged to follow their nose, at their own pace. Sniffaris are enriching for your dog and boost their quality of life. Sniffing is calming for your dog and can lower their pulse rates, even while walking! Your dog has the choice where to go and options on what to sniff. We keep the leash loose and follow the dog's lead. We encourage your dog to explore the world on their terms. We let the dog be a dog.
A sniffari is great for all dogs. It’s a great opportunity for young dogs and puppies as they learn about the world. For senior dogs, they can slow down and have enriched lives as they gather information about the area they are exploring, at their own pace. Parkside Pups has over 3.5 acres with woods and a stream for your dog to explore.
We humans usually dictate where our dogs walk and how long they spend sniffing locations. This can be very frustrating and unfulfilling for a dog. A sniffari is all about the dog being a dog.
